Ana Stojilovska and Magdalena Lembovska attended from 14 till 17 April 2013 the introductory regional seminar in Zagreb as part of the TRAIN 2013 program (Think Tanks providing Research and Advice through Interaction and Networking) organized by the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP).
At the seminar present were 12 researchers working in think tanks in Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the seminar the researchers had the opportunity to present their advanced research proposals in order to get feedback from TRAIN trainers and other researchers. Also, tips and good practices on policy paper drafting, dissemination and advocacy were presented. The overall impression was that the policy papers are in advance stage of their preparation, to be further specified based on the feedback given.
Analytica is participating in this program with the policy paper "Security and energy sectors' cooperation with the civil society in Macedonia – friends or foes?" which will be further developed in a final draft version till the next TRAIN seminar to take place in June in Berlin.
