3rd Central European Conference in Regional Science, 7-9th October 2009, Kosice, Slovak Republic

Our research fellow, Sonja Risteska participated in the 3rd Central European Conference in Regional Science, organized by the Technical University Kosice, in Kosice, the Slovak Republic. She presented joint paper written together with our other research fellow Agim Selami on the topic: Public Administration Reform in Macedonia with Particular Focus on Decentralization Process. The conference programme was divided into thematic sessions.

Besides regular sessions, a session for young scientists (doctoral students and researchers up to 33 years) was organized. These sessions included: Regional science in CEE countries - new challenges, new topics; Regional economic growth and development; Regional economic modeling; geographical information systems; Infrastructure, transport, mobility and Communication; New technologies, innovation and entrepreneurship; Decentralisation and regional policy. Apart from being successfully presented at the conference, Analytica’s paper was also cited in one Czech Scientific Journal
