RF Ana Stojilovska attended the RRPP Annual Scientific Conference 2012 on 25-26 May 2012 in Sarajevo. The conference title was "Social, Political and Economic Change in the Western Balkans". The conference gathers approximately 100 researchers from the region and beyond and serves as a forum for the RRPP grantees and other researchers to present their scientific projects, papers or PhD thesis. The aim of the conference is to be a platform for scientific exchange and regional and international networking.
At the conference present were distinguished experts, young scholars, researchers, and university and CSO representatives from the region and beyond. The beginning and the end of the conference was reserved for general presentations and discussions, while the main part was the presentation of the projects and papers in theme-focused workshops. Ana Stojilovska presented the RRPP funded project "Migration and development in Albania and Macedonia: the effects of remittances on education and health of family members left behind" in the workshop called "Migration, diaspora and development".
In addition, in order to ensure the visibility of so far produced knowledge from the region, RRPP organized a Research Market, which gave the opportunity for all interested to present their organizations, research publications and books. For this purpose, Analytica disseminated its latest publications.
