TRAIN Programme Belgrade Seminar 26-30 September 2010

Agim Selami and Sonja Risteska attended the Seminar: Fostering Policy Dialogue as part of the TRAIN Programme from 26-30 September 2010 in Belgrade Serbia. The four days seminar had two workshops as well as meetings with various stakeholders. The first workshop was on how to conduct a successful policy advocacy, done by Eoin Young from the Open Society Fund in Budapest. The second workshop was regarding the issues think tanks face in their communication with the media, decision-makers and other stakeholders.

Apart from the workshops there was a discussion on the topic what is the role of think tanks in the European accession process? with Ms Milica Delevic, head of the Serbian European Integration Office, Ms Gordana Comic, Deputy-speaker of the Serbian Parliament and member of the Democratic Party as well as with Mr. Vincent Degert  Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia.
