Sonja Risteska attended the training on advocacy from the 20 until the 22 of November 2010 in Bitola, Macedonia organized by TACSO (Technical Assistance for Civil Society Organizations (in Western Balkans and Turkey)) and funded by the European Union. The main goal of the TACSO project is the capacity building of the CSOs and strengthening their participation in the democratic processes in the prospective countries. The training had several components: the first one was about the processes and cycles of influencing the decision making process and the legal framework of the process of advocacy. The second component was about the principles of valuing the CSOs, identifying the vision, mission and stakeholders of each organization and about building coalitions. The last component consisted of creating an action plan and logical framework for a concrete project and using all of the tools that were taught in the previous sessions for the creation of the action plan.
