Field research, Petrovec, Municipality Ilinden
In August 2008, for the purpose of the EFB Project “Building National Capacities: Harmonization, Legislation and Management”, within the Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment Programme, Analytica performed field research on waste management in Macedonia. The research led us in front of the gates of Euroland, dairy farm outside of Skopje. We witnessed the daily activities on the farm, while visiting and learning for the history of the farm and for the production activities. Our main interest was the handling of the huge amounts of waste (mainly biowaste) that is produced on daily basis. This fruitful visit is available to see via Windows Media Player...
