Research Fellow Ana Stojilovska participated as a panelist at the Birthday forum of the Energy efficiency blog on 5 May 2012 in municipality Karposh. She presented her upcoming policy paper on policies for reforming the Macedonian heat market. The other panelists presented the two year work of the Blog and a critical analysis of the Macedonian energy legislation. At the forum present were representatives from the civil society, private sector, municipalities and interested citizens. The debate developed about the necessity of further improving the existing institutional setting and legal framework; implementing the existing strategies, the importance of urgent gasification, increasing the renewable share, improving energy efficiency and similar.
