Within the frame of this project, the first training session was held in Budva 1-4 April 2009, organized by DCAF, CCMR and CEDEM. The training on methodology was given by the CCMR representatives who have already completed this same endeavor in their own country and did present the results from their research at this training. The first products from this project are a context analysis as well as list of Chronology and Bibliography sources on security sector reform in each of the countries of the partner organizations from the Western Balkans.

Representatives from Analytica and from all partner organizations participated in the first training session. The next event within this project will be hosted by Analytica in November. This project is financed by the Royal Norwegian Government’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
