Analyica was part of a conference on “Progress in the Europeanization of the Security Sector in Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia” organized by the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) on 26.11.2013 in Hotel Swiss Diamond, Pristine.

The conference served as a launching event for the report titled “Progress in the Europeanization of the Security Sector in Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia” as a final outcome of a joint project on Regional Security in the Context of European Integration. The report assesses the progress in Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia in aspects related to the "Europeanization" of security sector. The comparative analysis aims to compare the current state of the three respective states on the path towards EU membership. Magdalena Lembovska wrote the Macedonian case study and presented it at the conference.

Analytica along with the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) were partners of the project, while leading partners were the Kosovar Centre for Security Studies (KCSS) and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) office in Pristine.

This conference was attended by a number of researchers, practitioners, academics, civil society representatives and politicians who discussed the issues related to the process of security sector reform in Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo.
