The latest report of the EU Approximation and Integration Advocacy Programme, “Four Years from the Candidacy Status: what has been done and what to expect?” was presented in the EU session at this conference.

The main goal of the organiser of the conference, the School of Advanced Social Studies in Nova Gorica was to provide a fruitful environment to develop and enrich Slovenian tradition in social sciences. Such enrichment is possible only in collaboration with distinguished and well established academics from all over the world as well as with their younger colleagues who only started their academic carriers.
