Analytica at "EU accession and Peace Building" conference - Belgrade; 28,29 September

Analytica’s Foreign and Security Policy Research Fellow Andreja Bogdanovski participated at the “EU accession and Peace Building” conference in Belgrade.
 
 
The conference was organized by EPLO (European peace building Liaison Office) and Fractal NGO from Belgrade. The overall aim of the conference was to identify models and channels through which CSOs can contribute in the peace building processes across the region of the Western Balkans with their expertise and knowledge.

The overall aim of the conference was to identify models and channels through which CSOs can contribute in the peace building processes across the region of the Western Balkans with their expertise and knowledge. Participants of the conference got the chance to interact with each other on questions that were targeting the general topic but at the same time used the conference as a great opportunity for sharing best practices. Furthermore several representatives from the diplomatic corps presented their point of view on the subject, highlighting the need for a greater CSO engagement and its capacity to contribute in transforming conflicts andspeed up EU’s accession process.
